To provide a more vivid experience with Japanese onomatopoeias, we have included a pronunciation chart with .wav file attachments and animated gifs. The pronunciation chart allows you to hear each onomatopoeia contained in the book pronounced by a native speaker while the sample animated gifs give you a visual representation of the actions associated with certain expressions. Our current gifs are not originals, but soon we hope to provide you with a selection of our original animated gifs.

Our phrase listing consists of a range of commonly-used onomatopopoeis, to include their multiple meanings. You will fnd commonly-used expressions such a "bori bori" "bata bata", "pera pera", "kun kun", and more. We will also be adding a separate listing that foucses on animal and insect sounds such as "cock-a-doodle-doo" or "kokke kokoo" in Japanese.

Our knowledge section will contain quizzes, flash cards, and other learning tools to help you add to your current knowledege of Japanese onomatopoeias, or perhaps, serve as a review of what you already know.
